Ive used this stuff for a couple of years now and the stuff does work.I sprinkled the granules around the house and all of the ant mounds and bugs slowly disappeared.Within about a month and a half the ant mounds start to return and slowly make their way closer and closer to the house.I sprinkled some more Ortho granules around the house once again and the ant mounds slowly disappeared just to return about 1 1/2 months later again as usual. This is an on going cycle at my house. This stuff does work but doesnt really last “all season long” as stated on the product.I will keep using it until i can find something that lasts a bit longer.

So me, my wife, and out 7 month old son actually live in a ground level apartment not a home.

The front of our apartment has a 12 foot concrete path with lava rocks on either side. Amidst the lava rocks are these extremely ugly low/flat/dense bushes that are always covered in spider webs.

The back has a small 3 X 8 patio that leads out to a courtyard type area. Just to the right though is more lava rock and shrubbery that hugs the outside wall.

For the past 2 months we have been plagued by an army of earwigs, rolley-pollies, and a horrid amount of spiders. We’re talking 1-3 big furry spiders we were having to kill a day inside our apartment. Not to mention the 2 black widows we’ve come across.

I bought this stuff 4 nights ago and spread it along the outside of the building stopping where my apartment would end and the neighbors would begin. I timed it in a way that the automated sprinklers would kick in shortly after as the package tells you it’s best to apply just before watering.

Since that night I have only seen (alive) one 1 earwig, which I think was actually on something I brought from the outside, zero spiders. Outside of that I have found the remains of some bugs here and there telling me this stuff is doing it’s job.

I’ve been resting a bit easier lately, without the constant fear that my wife or son will get a bad bite or a rouge bug will get into our pantry.
